Service Technician

Responsibilities:

• Effectively troubleshoot and identify malfunctions and failures in equipment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy machinery and its components.
• Diagnose and address mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic breakdowns in Vermeer equipment as well as other ancillary brands.
• Generate service reports summarizing the work performed.
• Prioritize safety by consistently adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and standards during work.
• Foster positive customer relations through professional and courteous interactions.

Hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM Overtime as needed

Qualifications:

• MUST own and maintain own set of tools and toolbox (wrench sets, socket sets, air tools, etc.)
• MUST have and maintain a clean driving record.
• 3+ years electrical experience required
• 3+ years hydraulics experience required
• Field service experience preferred
• Strong computer skills.
• High school graduate.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• MUST be able to lift up to 70 pounds

PAY RANGE: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
