Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment used to dispense company products at customer locations. This role ensures equipment operates efficiently, provides exceptional customer service, and supports overall customer satisfaction through preventative maintenance and timely repairs.
Essential Responsibilities
Equipment Service & Maintenance
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair services on dispensing equipment at customer locations.
- Respond to service calls and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Accurately update equipment status and maintenance records following service visits.
Customer Service
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with store personnel and customers.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and responsive service.
Communication & Teamwork
- Partner with team members, supervisors, and management to communicate service issues, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Work effectively both independently and within a team environment while maintaining a positive, "can-do" attitude.
Organization & Planning
- Prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
- Safely lift or move heavier items using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
- Travel up to 150 miles per day as needed.
- Occasionally work in dirty, dusty, or industrial environments.
- Regularly work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

- Excellent mechanical and electrical skills, which are required to maintain and repair equipment
- Willingness to learn and ability to be trained in a time sensitive environment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Previous service technician or maintenance experience preferred
- Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick's locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.
- Team members in this position may be required to handle, move, and work with a variety of products, including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated consumer goods.

Base Compensation:
$23-$24/hr
Potential Other Compensation (based on position eligibility):
Various bonuses, commissions, incentive pay, mileage reimbursement, etc.
