M J McGuire Company in Rugby, North Dakota is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our growing, family-owned dealership. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated technician with strong mechanical expertise. You’ll be responsible for performing high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on customer vehicles while delivering the exceptional service our community has trusted for generations.
This role is located in Rugby, ND, and a relocation bonus will be offered to the right candidate.

Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and Ford standards
Test-drive vehicles and evaluate systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including:
Engine
Transmission
Electrical steering
Suspension
Brakes
HVAC / A/C
And other related components
Communicate clearly with the Service Advisor regarding additional needed repairs and time estimates
Complete warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines
Ensure all work meets the highest safety and quality standards
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Ford Certification required
Previous Ford dealership experience strongly preferred
B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent hand-eye coordination
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Solid troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to continually grow
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Comfort with learning new technology, procedures, and specifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
