We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to define and drive the product strategy for next-generation serviceability features, persona-based service experiences, and closed-loop service workflow automation for radiation therapy treatment delivery systems. This role partners closely with in-house product support engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate service strategy into product concepts, user needs, workflow definitions, design inputs, acceptance criteria, and traceable serviceability requirements that are embedded into product architecture from the earliest phases of development.Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product definition for persona-based service experiences, serviceability capabilities, and closed-loop service workflow automation.
  • Author and maintain concept documents, user needs, use cases, acceptance criteria, design inputs, workflow diagrams, and traceability artifacts aligned with medical-device design-control practices.
  • Translate service strategy and SME input into implementable design inputs and measurable product capabilities.
  • Define workflow stories and use cases for fault detection, remote triage, guided diagnostics, repair execution, automated tuning, verification, documentation, and service learning feedback loops.
  • Lead cross-functional design workshops with engineering, product support, UX, data science, cloud/platform, cybersecurity, quality, regulatory, commercial, education, and field service teams.
  • Partner with R&D, systems engineering, and service-function leaders to embed serviceability into product architecture early in development.
  • Collaborate with UX and field-service SMEs to design workflow-integrated experiences across console, mobile, remote-support, and back-office service systems.
  • Ensure alignment with broader service, access, data, commercial operations, installation, and education strategies.
  • Support implementation, validation, issue review, impact ranking, and prioritization of service features across the product-development lifecycle.

Key Deliverables
  • Concept documents, Structured user needs, and design requirements for a new persona-based service experience, and closed-loop service workflow automation
  • Detailed use cases and operational workflows with complementary productivity statements
  • Design input documentation aligned to quality standards
  • Traceability artifacts linking user needs to system requirements
  • Serviceability requirements integrated into product definitions
  • KPI factors and value models to drive investment justification and success measures

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management, systems engineering, or related role
  • Experience in medical devices, radiation therapy, healthcare technology, healthcare IT, or other regulated product environments.
  • Strong understanding of design control processes and product development lifecycle and related design validation practices
  • Demonstrated experience defining user needs, use cases, and requirements
  • Notable experience leading with cross-functional engineering teams (software, hardware, systems, support)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jama, Azure DevOps, Jiri, or similar
  • Specific experience leading concept development in early-phase product innovation on at least 3 medical device product releases in the past 5 years
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical, clinical, service, regulatory, and commercial inputs into structured product strategy and decision-ready documentation
  • Clearly demonstrated analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to lead workshops and align senior SMEs.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with serviceability engineering or field service operations for medical devices
  • Experience creating product concepts or serviceability strategies for early-phase product innovation across multiple medical-device releases.
  • Knowledge of digital service platforms, remote connectivity, or IoT ecosystems
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and data compliance standards
  • Familiarity with radiation therapy oncology systems and treatment processes
  • Experience with DMAIC, value stream mapping, DfX, service cost modeling, or strategy deployment methods.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 14971) and risk management processes

The base pay range for this position is:

$119,920 - $164,890

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
