    Description

    Betten Honda is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles while delivering exceptional service. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models.

    • Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and identify potential issues.

    • Communicate findings and repair recommendations to service advisors.

    • Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership procedures.

    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.

    • Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used.

    • Participate in training programs and stay updated on new technologies and repair procedures.

    • Assist in maintaining shop equipment and tools in good working condition.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus.

    • ASE Certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain.

    • Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician (dealership experience preferred).

    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

    • Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    • Must be a team player and customer-focused.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, or squatting.

    • Manual dexterity to operate hand tools and repair equipment.
