Our client, a Consumer Products And Software Services company, is looking for a Service Supply Chain Operations Specialist for their Sunnyvale, CA/ Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Contractor commodity manager supporting Client’s service supply chain across two key workstreams: post-ramp qualification (PRQ) project coordination and hands-on commodity management for display and touch module components.
This role requires someone who can operate independently across cross-functional teams, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost and supply outcomes with minimal ramp time.
Client PRQ Support
Facilitate post-ramp qualification projects end-to-end, ensuring component transitions meet program milestones and quality requirements.
Serve as the primary coordination point between GCM, Engineering Program Management (EPM), and Service Supply Chain Engineering (SSCE) teams to track PRQ status, flag risks, and drive resolution.
Maintain PRQ project trackers and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met and blockers are escalated promptly.
Support qualification documentation, test result tracking, and approval workflows required for PRQ completion. Commodity Management — Mac Touch Bar Module, iPhone Touch Module,
Display Raw Materials
Supply Management: Monitor supplier capacity, lead times, and delivery performance to ensure continuity of supply for assigned commodities. Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks across the service supply chain.
Vendor Management: Manage daytoday supplier relationships, conduct business reviews, and drive supplier accountability on quality, delivery, and responsiveness commitments.
Cost Management: Support cost negotiations, track pricing trends, and identify cost reduction opportunities. Maintain accurate cost files and support BOM cost reconciliation activities.
Collaborate with Materials, Planning, Finance, and Engineering teams to align sourcing decisions with program requirements and financial targets.
Support lasttimebuy (LTB) assessments and endoflife (EOL) transition planning for assigned commodities as needed.
Requirements:
3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, commodity management, or procurement, preferably in consumer electronics or hardware manufacturing.
Familiarity with NPI or postramp qualification processes in a hardware environment.
Strong project coordination skills with the ability to track multiple workstreams, manage deadlines, and communicate status across crossfunctional teams.
Proficiency in Excel and supply chain planning tools (SAP, ERP systems, or equivalent).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience in client, service supply chain, or aftersales operations.
Knowledge of display, touch module, or related electromechanical commodities.
Experience with BOM management, cost modeling, or shouldcost analysis.
Familiarity with PRQ/qualification workflows and engineering change processes.
