Pay Transparency: $25 - $35 per hour, eligible for quarterly performance bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Service and/or repair vacuum trucks and other types of heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot and evaluate various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Perform some welding and fabrication as required (mig, stick, plasma, torch cutting)
- Read and understand technical instructions (blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams and work instructions
- Operate overhead crane, hoist, forklift, and miscellaneous air and electric hand tools and measuring instruments as required to perform repairs and maintenance
- Complete shop maintenance during down time
- Enter jobs into computer system in alignment with company processes
- Communicate updates on equipment to Supervisor
- Order parts
- Work in alignment with all company and OSHA safety policies
Requirements:
- Ability to assemble components per drawings and/or verbal or written instructions.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose all systems related to a complete vacuum
system. - Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical applications,
maintain a clean and safe workplace, must work in a manner deemed safe for self
and others. - Willingness to work overtime when requested.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly experience with strong mechanical
