As our Maintenance Manager, youll be the senior maintenance leader on site, guiding a high-performing team while keeping the community in exceptional condition. Youll combine hands-on technical work with leadership, planning, and a constant focus on delivering an outstanding resident experience, all while championing Inclusion, Sustainability and Total Wellbeing. As a Maintenance Manager, youll play a vital role in ensuring residents enjoy a well-maintained and welcoming home:

Leading, coaching and developing a team of maintenance professionals Ensuring maintenance requests are completed promptly, professionally and to Equity Residential standards Supporting and stepping in on hands-on maintenance when needed - electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, painting, repairs and more Overseeing preparation of market-ready apartments and maintaining common areas and grounds Managing scheduled maintenance, inspections and preventative maintenance programmes Handling emergency response, on-call duties and special maintenance projects Partnering with the Community Manager on budgets, capital projects, planning and operational improvements Ensuring compliance with all federal and state housing laws, safety requirements and company policies

Additionally, the position is eligible for overtime, and an annual performance bonus up to 10% of the annualized salary
