    TheServiceManagerisresponsibleforoverseeingthedailyoperationsofthetrailerrepairservicedepartment,ensuringhigh-qualityrepairandmaintenanceservices,anddeliveringexceptionalcustomersatisfaction.Thisroleinvolvesmanagingateamoftechnicians,coordinatingserviceschedules,handlingcustomerinquiries,andmaintainingoperationalefficiency.
    ResponsibilitiesandDuties
    • Supervise, mentor,andevaluateservicetechniciansandsupportstaff.
    • Scheduleandassigntaskstoensureefficientworkflowandtimelycompletionofrepairs.
    • Conductregulartraininganddevelopmentsessionstoenhanceteamskillsandknowledge.
    • Serveas theprimarypointofcontactforcustomersregardingserviceinquiries,repairstatus,andconcerns.
    • Addressandresolvecustomercomplaintsandissuespromptlyandprofessionally.
    • Developandmaintainstrongcustomerrelationshipstofosterrepeatbusinessandreferrals.
    • OverseedailyoperationsoftheTrailerandDeiselrepairdivisions,includingworkflowmanagement,partsinventory,andequipmentmaintenance.
    • Ensureadherencetosafetystandards,companypolicies,andindustryregulations.
    • Monitorandcontrolservicedepartmentbudgets,includinglaborcostsandinventoryexpenses.
    • Implementandmaintainqualitycontrolprocessestoensurerepairsmeetcompanystandardsandcustomerexpectations.
    • Conductregularinspectionsofcompletedworktoverifyqualityandaccuracy.
    • Developandenforcebestpracticesforrepairproceduresandservicedelivery.
    • Prepareandmanageservicereports,includingworkorders,servicelogs,andperformancemetrics.
    • Analyzeservicedata toidentifytrends,areasforimprovement,andopportunitiesforefficiency.
    • Coordinatewithotherdepartments,suchassalesandparts, tosupportoverallbusinessoperations.
    • Staycurrentwithindustrytrends,technologicaladvancements,andbestpracticesintrailerrepairandmaintenance.
    • Providetechnicalsupportandguidancetotechniciansasneeded.
    • Troubleshootandresolvecomplexrepairissuesandensureproperdiagnosticproceduresarefollowed.
    SkillsandQualifications
    • Education:Highschooldiploma orequivalent; relevanttechnicalcertificationsorassociatedegreeinautomotiveormechanicalengineeringpreferred.
    • Experience:Minimumof5yearsofexperienceintrailerrepairor arelatedfield,withatleast5yearsin asupervisoryormanagerialrole.
    • Strongleadershipandteammanagementabilities.
    • Excellentcustomerserviceandcommunicationskills.
    • Proficiencyindiagnostictoolsandrepairtechniquesfortrailers.
    • Solidunderstandingofsafetystandardsandindustryregulations.
    • Strongorganizationalandproblem-solvingskills.
    • Abilitytomanagemultipletasksandprioritiesin afast-pacedenvironment.
