Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of an efficient, profitable Service Department
  • Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and follow through
  • Support and guide technicians through training, development, and performance feedback
  • Uphold warranty guidelines and ensure accurate documentation
  • Maintain high product and technical knowledge to support the team
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Maintain departmental organization, workflow, and adherence to processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve dealership goals
  • Champion a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical experience in the medium/heavy duty truck industry
  • Technician training such as ASE and/or OEM certifications (desired)
  • Strong internal and external customer service abilities
  • Familiarity with warranty processes and guidelines
  • Proven ability to lead others in a positive, empowering way
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of product and technical knowledge
  • Strong organizational abilities and comfort with multitasking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications used at this location
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
  • Knowledge of International and supplier warranty policies
  • Ability to support teamwork and a respectful, collaborative environment
