Service Manager Job Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all daily service department operations
Drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Recruit, train, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians
Monitor department performance metrics and implement improvement strategies
Ensure excellent customer service and effective handling of customer concerns
Maintain manufacturer standards and dealership policies
Manage technician productivity, efficiency, and workflow
Review financial statements, budgets, and departmental reports
Collaborate with Parts, Sales, and dealership leadership to achieve overall business goals
Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and performance

Service Manager Qualifications
Previous automotive Service Manager or Fixed Operations leadership experience
Previous import OEM experience, preferably Honda.
Proven track record of driving service department profitability and customer satisfaction
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
Experience analyzing KPIs, financial performance, and operational metrics
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with dealership management systems and service department software
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
