    Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

    • Perform general express technician services as required
    • Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle automotive systems, including flushes and oil changes
    • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
    • Explain mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs to service advisors and customers
    • Attend formal training sessions to learn new technical information and techniques to stay current with rapidly changing technology

    Requirements:

    Physical Demands & Work Environment

    • Regularly use hands and arms to operate tools, equipment, and vehicle components.
    • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Occasionally lift or move heavier items with assistance or appropriate lifting equipment.
    • Regularly communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.

    Work is performed primarily in an automotive service shop. Employees regularly work around moving mechanical parts and are exposed to loud noise, vibration, automotive fluids, varying temperatures, and vehicle exhaust. This position requires the safe operation of power tools, shop equipment, and motor vehicles while following established safety policies and procedures. Frequent interaction with customers, Service Advisors, fellow technicians, and management is expected.
