    Job Summary:The Service Line Coordinator RN will play a crucial role in supporting the clinical operations and administrative aspects of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Service Line (CVPSL) to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and facilitate program development and improvement initiatives.Coordinate patient care activities within the CVPSL, ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance with evidence-based best practice standards and regulations.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to the needs of cardiovascular and pulmonary patients.Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines to enhance the quality of care.Support the CVPSL leadership in strategic planning and service line development activities.Facilitate communication among physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and program advancement.Lead and participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the service line.Utilizes problem-solving skills to identify root causes and contributing factors, and implement timely interventions.Manage data collection and reporting for clinical outcomes, program performance, and quality improvement projects.Educate staff on new policies, procedures, and protocols related to cardiovascular and pulmonary care.Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff and other team members.Participate in community outreach and education efforts to promote cardiovascular and pulmonary health awareness.Participates in organization-wide coordinators of patient care and integration of departmental activities consistent with CaroMonts mission, vision, values, and goals. Qualifications:Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state compact license).Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred.At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting, with at least 1 year of experience in cardiovascular or pulmonary nursing.Strong understanding of cardiovascular and pulmonary disease processes and patient care requirements. Related specialty nursing certification preferred.Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in program development, coordination, or management. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and data management tools.Ability to work collaboratively with service line leaders, physicians, clinical staff, patients, and families or visitors.
