Service & Install Technician - Flagpoles

Responsibilities: 
  • Install and maintain flagpoles and related accessories at customer locations.
  • Perform routine inspections and repairs to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Provide excellent customer service during installations and service calls.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain inventory of tools and equipment for service tasks.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all installations.
  • Document service activities and report findings to management.
  • Assist in training new technicians on installation procedures and safety practices.

Requirements:
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in installation or service-related roles.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Able to obtain or already possess a DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in installation work.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Must be reliable, respectful, and able to work well independently or as a team

Location & Travel Details 
Based out of Wixom, MI, this role requires monthly travel to out-of-state job sites. Most trips last about a week, though timing varies depending on job scope and location. You’ll work local jobs or assist in the shop between trips. Per diem is paid, and all accommodations are covered.
