Salary Range: Putnam County Schools Service Annual Salary based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.
Job Description: The Plumber II/General Maintenance is responsible for repairing and maintaining plumbing as well as performing minor repairs to equipment and buildings of the school system.
Qualifications:
- Holds a high school diploma or GED
- Holds "Carpenter", "Plumber" classifications.
- Verified work experience as a carpenter and glazier.
- Holds or qualifies for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
Length of Employment: 261 Days
Responsibilities: The Plumber II/General Maintenance Employee shall have the following responsibilities and duties:
- To repair and maintain plumbing as directed.
- To assist skilled maintenance employees and perform minor repairs to equipment and buildings.
- To respond to emergency situations as required.
- To perform the physical demands of the position, as necessary, in an effective and efficient manner.
- To perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent for Services or the Supervisor of Maintenance.
