With a strong focus on CNC innovation, the company delivers high-performance Swiss-type lathes, multi-axis turning centers, and automation solutions designed to maximize productivity, precision, and operational efficiency.Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the CNC Service Engineer are:Install, start up, and commission CNC machine tools at customer locations.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control system issues.Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment evaluations.Troubleshoot and resolve machine performance, accuracy, and operational concerns.Interpret electrical schematics, machine drawings, and technical documentation.Provide customer training on machine operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.Complete service reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Communicate effectively with customers regarding machine status, repair recommendations, and service requirements.Support customers remotely via phone, email, and other communication platforms when appropriate.Collaborate with technical support, applications, parts, and engineering teams to resolve complex machine issues.Maintain service tools, equipment, and company-provided assets in good working condition.Adhere to all company and customer safety requirements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe successful CNC Service Engineer will have:Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent technical experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience servicing CNC machine tools, industrial automation equipment, or related manufacturing systems.Experience working in Swiss or Lathe CNC MachinesKnowledge of GCode, MCode, CNC ProgrammingStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.Working knowledge of servo systems, motors, drives, spindle systems, and CNC controls.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to travel locally on a regular basis and occasionally outside the assigned territory as needed.What's on OfferMy client can offer the following for the CNC Service Engineer:Competitive Hourly Rate + OvertimeCompany car, or rental option providedExcellent 401k Matching program up to 6%Excellent Growth opportunities within the organizationStrictly local travel (no overnights)Contact Daniel Hall Quote job ref JN-082026-7077297
