[Responsibilities]
- Provide responsive on-site support for Dell server and data center hardware, minimizing downtime
- Execute server builds, hardware swaps, part replacements, and firmware updates
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues at the hardware, firmware, and OS level, escalating as needed
- Perform both reactive and preventive maintenance according to established protocols
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers during service events
- Maintain accurate documentation of all service activities and share knowledge with peers
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide extended coverage as required
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 2-20 years of experience in data center, field service, or technical support roles
- Proven hands-on expertise with server components such as CPUs, memory, power supplies, and GPUs
- Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently on-site and engage with customers professionally
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and traveling to customer locations

- Dell or equivalent vendor certifications
- Exposure to emerging technologies, including AI platform support
