Keep the Right Technician Moving to the Right Call

H&G Systems is looking for an experienced Service Dispatcher to support our commercial service team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

This is not an entry-level dispatch position. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience dispatching commercial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or similar service technicians who understands how quickly priorities can change when customers have equipment down, emergencies arise, and technicians are working across a busy metro area.

The right person will be organized, calm under pressure, comfortable making decisions, and able to keep both customers and technicians informed throughout the day.

What You’ll Do

• Schedule and dispatch commercial service technicians throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area
• Prioritize service calls based on urgency, customer needs, technician skill set, location, and availability
• Communicate with customers regarding service requests, scheduling, technician arrival times, and status updates
• Coordinate emergency and high-priority service calls
• Monitor technician schedules and adjust assignments throughout the day as conditions change
• Maintain accurate information in the service management and dispatch system
• Work closely with service technicians, service managers, and office staff to keep jobs moving efficiently
• Review open calls and follow up to make sure service requests are completed or properly scheduled
• Help minimize technician downtime and unnecessary travel
• Provide professional, responsive customer service to commercial clients
• Assist with after-hours or on-call service coordination as needed
• Maintain accurate notes, customer information, and service documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial service dispatch experience required
• Experience dispatching commercial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, or other skilled service technicians
• Strong understanding of commercial service operations and technician scheduling
• Ability to manage a high volume of calls, technicians, and changing priorities
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills with both customers and field technicians
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions when schedules change or emergencies arise
• Comfortable working with dispatching, scheduling, CRM, or service management software
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Dallas-Fort Worth area is highly preferred
