This highly collaborative role will need to work closely with stakeholders, end users, and functional and technical team members, in order to deliver quality solutions to clients. The successful candidate will join the Serviced Modernization Squad (SMS) to participate in a multi-squad team tasked with modernizing our legacy customer servicing platform.

Duration: 12+ Months with possible extension
Location: Cincinnati, OH – Onsite

The successful candidate will join the Serviced Modernization Squad (SMS) to participate in a multi-squad team tasked with modernizing our legacy customer servicing platform. The job will be mostly java/backendservices focused. Experience in front end development/Angular will also be helpful.

Participate on an application delivery team and deliver high-quality solutions by adhering to company best practices. This highly collaborative role will need to work closely with stakeholders, end users, and functional and technical team members, in order to deliver quality solutions to clients.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Developing scalable, distributed, multi-threaded applications using Java/Spring.
• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Build and manage development, test, integration, performance and stage environments.
• Collaborate with team members in design reviews, development and code reviews.
• Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to standards, best practices and development methodologies.

 
Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, ect)
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience.
• Proven working experience in Java development.
• Hands on experience in designing and developingapplications using Java EE platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies.
• Experience in the Spring Framework.
