Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Service Delivery Supervisor As the Service Delivery Supervisor you will be responsible for providing guidance to team members and overseeing the daily operations of waste services across the facility to ensure the safe and timely completion of work to support our customers.

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Schedules and directs facility employees in their assigned tasks to ensure operational goals are met in an efficient manner, including shipping and receiving activities
  • Trains new employees in Company and department procedures and monitors adherence
  • Ensures all employees are working in a safe manner with all prescribed safety equipment required by regulations and Company policies and procedures
  • Interfaces with other departments and functions to ensure the smooth completion of projects and appropriate task transitions
  • Develops, maintains and initiates reporting related to all activities for leadership review or as required by regulations and Company policies and procedures
  • Defines performance objectives and metrics for assigned department/functional areas; incorporates quality and efficiency improvements data into departmental goals
  • Adheres to and ensures facility complies with all employee OSHA requirements, RCRA hazardous waste requirements and DOT hazardous materials compliance
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations and maintains appropriate records
  • Monitors assigned area equipment to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness of operations and maintenance; makes recommendations as appropriate
  • Manages the quality control and assurance of inbound and outbound materials as necessary
  • Negotiates service/support contracts with outside contractors/vendors as applicable; reviews and authorizes purchase of contract services
  • Participates in the hiring, performance evaluation, promotion and disciplinary decisions for Service Delivery employees
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Bachelor''s degree (preferred)

Experience

  • 3+ years of related environmental experience at a supervisory level (required)
  • 2+ years of environmental, health and safety experience (required)
