As a Service Center Supervisor, you'll train and develop employees, maintain excellent customer service and set goals for your team. You'll oversee your team's day-to-day needs, supervise work in progress and support assistant managers in executing team and building strategies. For this role, you'll focus on the technology services function, our primary area of focus at this facility.
This role takes place at Geek Squad city, our 240,000-square-foot repair center in Brooks, Kentucky.
What you'll do
Train Geek Squad Agents to achieve business and performance metrics
Monitor employee schedules, exceptions and time off
Host weekly meetings to touch base on day-to-day work direction and work in progress
Maintain positive client and vendor relationships
Conduct tracking and reporting related to individual and department productivity, quality, staffing, workload and escalations
Make sound business decisions related to workforce planning, waste, exceptions and inventory
Basic qualifications
1 year of experience in training related to consumer electronics
1 year of leadership experience
Able to stand and sit for long periods of time
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Able to lift weight up to 50 pounds
Able to acquire and maintain required certifications within 90 days of hire
Previous experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred qualifications
Associate degree in business or related field
1 year of experience evaluating and repairing consumer electronics
1 year of experience in customer service
Fluent in both English and Spanish
6 months of experience using proprietary systems or inventory-related systems such as Star, Smart Parts, Comergent, Gozer, FMS, Breeze, GSX/AST2, OCIS, RSS or Linux
