Position: Aide/Early Childhood Assistant Teacher - PreSchool Special Needs

Salary Range: Putnam County Schools Service Annual Salary based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.

Job Description: The Early Childhood Assistant Teacher or Universal Pre-K e Aide supports the instructional program by performing tasks assigned by the regular classroom teacher.

Qualifications:

• Holds a high school diploma or GED.
• Holds "Aide" classification.
• Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
• Holds valid CPR and first aid cards.
• To qualify for the Early Childhood Assistant Teacher classification, the successful candidate must agree to complete a Temporary or Permanent Authorization endorsed for Early Childhood Assistant Teacher.

Length of Employment: 200 days

Responsibilities: The Early Childhood Assistant Teacher or Universal Pre-K e aide shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description.
