    Responsibilities

    • Greet customers promptly and professionally when they arrive for service
    • Listen to customer's concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
    • Conduct a thorough write up of the customer's needs 
    • Recommend necessary maintenance and repairs based on manufacturer's guidelines
    • Prepare accurate repair orders and obtain customer authorization before work begins
    • Monitor progress of vehicles throughout the repair process
    • Review competed repairs and repair orders for accuracy
    • Explain completed repairs, charges and recommendations to customer at delivery
    • Work to resolve customer concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction
    • Maintain a clean, organized and professional service drive and customer area
    • Build long-term relationships with customers o encourage repeat business and customer loyalty

    Additional Information/Job Requirements

    • Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred, but not required
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume service department
    • Strong sales skills and ability to recommend needed maintenance and repairs
    • Must be organized and able to manage multiple customers and repair orders at once
    • Ability to communicate clearly with customers, technicians, and management
    • Comfortable using computers, texting, email, and dealership software
    • Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
    • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
    • Ability to handle customer concerns and difficult situations professionally
    • Must be willing to follow dealership and manufacturer processes
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
    • Previous Subaru or dealership experience is a plus, but not required 
    • Organized and friendly personality
    • Demonstrated ability to manage others
    • Time management skills
    • Fantastic communication skills with your customers
    • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
    • Clean driving record
    • Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
