    MENDOZA FORD is seeking a FULL TIME AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR. We are a high volume Dealership with a desire to serve our customers, and maintain a professional team. If you have previous service advisor experience or have a desire to learn, we want to speak to you!

    Service Advisor Responsibilities:

     

    • Greet customers promptly

    • Obtain customer and vehicle information

    • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer

    • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle

    • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts

    • Keep clear, thorough and consistent communication with customers.
    • Establish follow up time

    • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently

    • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order

    • Explain all completed work and charges to customers

     

    Service Advisor Requirements:

     

    • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

    • Ability to identify the problem quickly

    • Knowledge of automobiles

    • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction

    • Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant preferred

    • Very energetic personality 

    • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization

    • Personal and professional integrity

    • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs

    • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications

    • Minimum of 1 year in service department preferred

    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Basic computer skills

    • Positive, friendly attitude 

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Clean driver record and a valid drivers license.
