Service Advisor

As a Service Advisor at Tom Wood Nissan in Indianapolis, IN, you will be the primary point of contact for customers visiting our service department. Your role is to ensure an exceptional customer experience by accurately diagnosing vehicle issues, communicating service options, and coordinating repairs with our skilled technicians. You will play a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing timely updates, managing service orders, and delivering outstanding service to every guest.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
• Explain recommended repairs and maintenance services clearly and effectively.
• Work closely with service technicians to diagnose vehicle problems and ensure timely repairs.
• Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approval before proceeding with service.
• Maintain detailed records of service orders, parts, and labor.
• Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and post-service satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and safety standards.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures is a plus.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
