Mike Terry Ford is actively seeking a professional, personable Service Advisor to join our growing team. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where you will serve as the critical link between our customers and service technicians.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while coordinating service repairs from start to finish. You will guide customers through the service process, ensure accurate communication with technicians, and help drive service department efficiency and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, directing them through the service process

  • Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues

  • Schedule service appointments, vehicle drop-offs, and pick-ups

  • Consult with technicians regarding required repairs and alternative solutions

  • Provide detailed cost estimates and timelines for repairs

  • Verify warranty and insurance coverage when applicable

  • Conduct vehicle inspections and occasional test drives

  • Communicate repair updates and completion times to customers

  • Upsell services, maintenance packages, and parts when appropriate

  • Maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business

  • Manage workflow and ensure efficient scheduling of the service department

  • Coordinate parts ordering and ensure availability for repairs

  • Process service payments and ensure all charges are clearly explained

REQUIREMENTS
  • Automotive dealership or service experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with dealership software/CRM systems is a plus

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
