    Job Description

    Ancira Chevrolet San Antonio as an immediate opening for an experienced Service Advisor / Consultant to join our Service Team. This role is dedicated to the intake and coordination of automotive repair service requests while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

    Candidates must live within a 45-minute commute of the dealership and have prior Service Advisor or similar automotive experience to be considered.

    The ideal candidate is quality-minded, coachable, and motivated to build life-long customer relationships through clear communication, trust, and expert use of dealership technology.

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday during operating hours of 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with availability to work every 3rd Saturday. Schedule will be assigned within these business hours.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the service intake and repair process
    • Perform a thorough customer walk-around, including:
      • Friendly meet and greet and appointment confirmation
      • Identification and confirmation of the customer’s primary concern
      • Mileage verification, vehicle start-up, cluster warning light check, steering and visual inspection
      • Inspection of tires, wipers, under-hood components, and maintenance indicators
      • Identification of visible damage and offering free repair estimates through the on-site Collision Center
    • Clearly communicate recommended services using dealership-provided technology and tools
    • Follow up on declined services with automated and personal communication to support timely vehicle maintenance
    • Maintain consistent, conscientious customer follow-up to reinforce trust and satisfaction
    • Coordinate with technicians and service management to ensure timely execution of repairs
    • Document all service activity accurately in dealership systems

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Service Advisor, Estimator, or in a related automotive service role
    • Must live within a 45-minute commute of the dealership
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on communication and delivering quality service experience
    • Comfortable utilizing dealership technology to enhance customer communication and follow-up
    • Coachable mindset with a strong desire to learn and improve
    • Outcome-driven with the ability to thrive in a performance-based environment
    • Team-oriented, collaborative, and professional in all interactions
    • Valid driver’s license with ability to meet insurability requirements
    • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
    • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
