Job SummarySpringdale Hall has openings for experienced Servers to join our team! Servers are the prime point of contact between our members and their club. They are key to our operation and play an integral role in our members’ dining experience. You will build rapport with members, answer questions about the menu, take orders, and serve food and drinks. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and has fantastic attention to detail. These positions open 9/21/26
Responsibilities:
- Take food and beverage orders from members
- Answer questions about the menu and preparation
- Provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff
- Check with members periodically during their meals to ensure they are satisfied
- Close customer check at the end of the meal.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server is preferred
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

SHC is a private club known for excellent Southern hospitality. The historic clubhouse is well laid out for cocktails with friends, dining, and receptions. The club is regularly home to special occasions for members, their guests, and visitors from reciprocal clubs.Our cottages offer a warm and inviting home away from home.
ABOUT SHC
Nestled in tall pines in the midst of South Carolina’s horse country, the Springdale Hall Club was created in one of Camden's handsome winter residences. Spacious south facing rooms overlook South Carolina's only Donald Ross golf course. The historic house is beautifully appointed with architectural features from one of Camden's earlier Charleston style stage coach inns.
Springdale Hall's charter members opened the Club in 1950 to offer members and their guests winter cottages and a clubhouse for dining and special events.
Club History
In 1950, the Club’s charter members established a retreat featuring Southern cuisine and cottages on a historic property set in the heart of Camden's sporting life - where horse racing, hunting, polo, and field sports formed the essence of Camden's popularity. These traditions have continued to flourish over the years to the delight of members who travel from across the nation to enjoy Southern hospitality at Springdale Hall.
