    Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour

    About the Opportunity

    Ensure efficient, timely and friendly service to all residents, staff and guests. Assist with meeting or exceeding residents’ dining expectations. Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and availability of all dining services cookware, dishware, etc. Keep food prep, dining areas and/or dish room areas clean and sanitary. Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality of food preparation and presentation.

    • Resident Dining Experience
    • Provide attentive table service in a memory care setting, ensuring residents feel welcomed and supported during meals
    • Assist residents with menu choices and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
    • Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining a friendly and respectful demeanor
    • Provide hands-on assistance with meals when appropriate (e.g., opening packages, cueing, gentle reminders)
    • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (California Health Code standards)
    • Ensure proper food handling, temperature control, and cleanliness in dining areas
    • Observe residents for changes in eating habits or behavior and report concerns to care staff
    • Comply with infection control procedures and community safety protocols
    • Work closely with caregiving staff to meet residents’ individual needs.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to pass background checks and comply with California health requirements
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
    • Ability to lift to 25 lbs
    • Ability to bend, reach, and carry trays or dining items
    • Ability to assist residents with mobility or positioning during meals (non-clinical support)
