About the Job:
- The Original Las Brisas Restaurant is a long-standing, family-owned restaurant known for authentic Mexican food and warm, personal service. We are looking for a dependable Part-Time Morning Server to join our team.
- This role is a great fit for an experienced server who enjoys working with people, providing attentive service, and being part of a close-knit restaurant team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Prepare and maintain tables and service areas.
- Take dine-in, takeout, phone, and online orders accurately.
- Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly.
- Process payments accurately.
- Package takeout and online orders.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary service areas.
- Assist with mobile orders, pop-up events, and private events as needed.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
Requirements:
- Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Spanish/English bilingual ability preferred.
- Familiarity with Mexican cuisine is a plus.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
- Able to stand and move for extended periods.
- Food Handler Card required as applicable; candidates without one may obtain it after hire.
Schedule & Pay:
- Part-time morning shifts.
- Tuesday through Sunday availability.
- $18.42 per hour plus tips.
- Typical total earnings are approximately $20-$25 per hour depending on tips and customer service performance.
