About the Position

Servers at Horsefeather are responsible for creating warm, memorable dining experiences for every guest. This position requires strong knowledge of our food and beverage offerings, excellent communication skills, and the ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, friendly, efficient, and committed to providing high-quality service from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and guide them through the menu with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, allergens, and modifications.
• Coordinate with the bar and kitchen to ensure seamless service and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor tables throughout service to anticipate needs and respond quickly to requests.
• Maintain clean and organized stations, including side work and closing duties.
• Support a positive and collaborative work environment by communicating effectively with team members and management.

What We’re Looking For (Please Read Carefully)

We are seeking personable, detail-oriented servers who bring a warm and professional presence to every shift. A genuine interest in food, drink, and hospitality, along with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency, are essential.

Minimum Requirements

• You must be 18 or older to apply
• Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed during high-volume service.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Toast preferred).
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• California Food Handler’s Card and RBS certification required.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
