Introduction:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our team and provide excellent service to our guests. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that our guests have a positive dining experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a year-round position and only candidates that live locally all year can be considered at this time.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and provide excellent customer service

• Take orders and serve food and drinks, including making recommendations and answering questions about menu items

• Enter food and beverage orders accurately into POS

• Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing glassware, flatware dishes and utensils

• Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management

• End of shift closing duties which includes resetting tables, rolling flatware packages and vacuuming/sweeping dining areas

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a server or in a similar role

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Basic math skills
