The Server position at Mama Devechio's Pizzeria is for friendly people who love to show hospitality and offer excellent customer service! The ideal candidate will deliver a high-quality dining experience by providing prompt, courteous service to our guests. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly as they are seated.
- Know the menu, explain specials and promotions, and be able to make recommendations.
- Accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while following safety and sanitation standards.
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
- Process payments and issue receipts accurately.
- Assist the back-of-house team as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Capable of accurately managing cash transactions and using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work weekends as needed.
