Role Summary
Server Assistants are the backbone of service flow, ensuring tables turn efficiently, food arrives hot, and the bar stays stocked and ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Run food quickly and accurately from the kitchen
- Assist bartenders as a barback (ice, glassware, restocking)
- Clear, reset, and maintain tables
- Support servers with refills, pre-bussing, and guest needs
- Keep service stations stocked and organized
- Assist expo and kitchen during peak service times
- Maintain cleanliness in guest and service areas
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to identify menu items and table numbers
- Strong sense of urgency and teamwork
- Physical stamina for fast-paced service
- Clear communication with FOH and BOH
- Willingness to step into multiple support roles as needed
