Server Assistant - Millie Leigh's Restaurant
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and a commitment to food safety standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Support banquet operations by setting up dining areas, serving food and drinks, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the event.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and high-quality presentation of dishes.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work full time
- Must be able to pass a background screening
- Positive, service-minded attitude
- Not required, but preferred: desires to move into full-time serving role in the future
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
