We are seeking a dedicated Server Assistant to join our team. The Assistant will be responsible for a mixture of duties ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Transport food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables promptly and accurately
- Ensure all items on the order are included and presented correctly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Polishing the silverware
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or requests promptly
- Bussing and resetting the tables
Skills
- Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Previous experience in banquet or food service settings is advantageous
- Basic culinary knowledge is beneficial
- Background in hotel or hospitality industry is a bonus
Restaurant experience is preferred, but not required. Candidates must have reliable transportation to and from work.
