Septic Pump Truck Driver - Job descriptionWe are a local plumbing company seeking a reliable and experienced Septic Pump Truck Driver to join our team. As a Septic Pump Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning of our customers' septic systems by safely and efficiently pumping out the waste from their tanks.Responsibilities:Operate a septic pump truck, adhering to all safety regulations and protocolsSafely maneuver the truck in various conditions, including residential and commercial properties, tight spaces, and uneven terrainCommunicate with customers to understand their needs and concerns, and provide exceptional customer serviceUse hand and power tools to access and inspect septic tanks, locate openings, and ensure proper functionInspect and maintain the truck and all equipment, reporting any issues to managementComplete all necessary paperwork, including logbooks and service tickets, accurately and on timeMaintain a clean and organized work environmentParticipate in training and development programs, as neededRequirements:Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license with tanker endorsementHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience in driving a septic pump truck or similar vehicle (preferred but not required)Excellent driving record and safety recordAbility to lift heavy equipment and tools, up to 50 poundsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and customer service skillsWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysBasic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)We offer competitive pay and benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
