POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled SEO Web Developer to join our growing home services marketing team. This role combines technical web development expertise with advanced SEO knowledge to create high-performing websites that dominate local search results and drive qualified leads for home service contractors. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in WordPress development, local SEO optimization, and measurable results in improving organic search rankings
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical SEO & Web Development
Excellent English grammar and verbal communication
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with custom themes and advanced functionality. Must have excellent knowledge of Beaver Builder
Implement and monitor Core Web Vitals optimization (LCP, FID, CLS) for superior user experience
Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog and implement optimization strategies
Develop and implement schema markup (JSON-LD) for enhanced search result visibility
Ensure website security, speed optimization, and mobile-first responsive design
Create custom post types, taxonomies, and meta fields for specialized home services content
Ensure website design and development adhere to SEO best practices, including site speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience
Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
Provide technical support and guidance to clients on website-related issues
Lead Generation and Local SEO Landing Pages
Create optimized service area pages and location-specific landing pages
Implement review management strategies and reputation optimization with the Local SEO Experts
Design and optimize lead generation forms and conversion funnels
Collaboration & Strategy
Work closely with the marketing team to align SEO strategies with business objectives
Collaborate with content creators on SEO-optimized content development
Stay current with search algorithm updates and industry best practices
Participate in client strategy sessions and present On Page SEO recommendations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Technical Skills
At least 3+ years proven SEO Web Designer/Developer experience with demonstrable ranking improvements and traffic growth
Advanced WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, PHP, and REST API integration
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles
SEO tools expertise including Screaming Frog, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and rank tracking platforms
SEO & Marketing Knowledge
Local SEO specialization with proven results for home service businesses
Technical SEO expertise, including site architecture, crawlability, and indexation optimization
Schema markup implementation and structured data best practices
Core Web Vitals optimization and performance enhancement techniques
Conversion rate optimization principles and lead generation strategies
Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, GHL, Zapier)
Familiarity with CRM integrations and lead management systems
Video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere) for content optimization
Basic graphic design skills using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
Specialized Experience
