Senior Construction Project Manager - Concrete

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $125,000 - $150,000

How you’ll spend your time as a Senior Construction Project Manager - Concrete:

  • Lead execution of complex, high-risk, or high-revenue projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators and project managers.
  • Establish project strategy, staffing plans, and execution approach in collaboration with operations leadership.
  • Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation management.
  • Lead post-project reviews and implement lessons learned across teams.
  • Lead review, negotiation, and execution of prime contracts and major subcontracts.
  • Oversee change order strategy, pricing approach, and negotiation to protect margin and scope.
  • Ensure contract compliance, documentation integrity, and dispute avoidance/resolution.
  • Provide guidance to Project Managers on contractual risk and commercial decisions.
  • Maintain proactive communications with fellow employees, management, customers, and vendors/suppliers.
  • Coordinate with field leadership, assisting in securing project information, materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Maintain ownership of project financial outcomes including revenue, cost, cash flow, and margin.
  • Lead budget development, forecasting, and cost control processes.
  • Support procurement strategy, vendor negotiations, and subcontractor performance management.
  • Drive billing accuracy, schedule of values alignment, and collections support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, general contractors, and industry partners.
  • Support pursuit strategy, preconstruction collaboration, and repeat business development.
  • Represent the company in project meetings and industry interactions as a senior leader.

Skills & experience we would like you to have as a Senior Construction Project Manager - Concrete:

  • 8+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, or relevant experience and training in place of a degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certificate in Project Management (CPM) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large or complex commercial concrete projects.
  • Strong financial management and forecasting experience.
  • Experience mentoring or leading project teams.
  • Knowledge of estimating processes and budget development.
  • Concrete self-perform experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Computer Ease or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification required or ability to obtain.
  • Proficiency in ProContractor software is preferred.
