About the Opportunity:

SRM Materials is seeking a dependable Harbor Crane Operator to safely operate a Sennebogen crane while loading, unloading, and moving bulk materials. The operator will work around vessels, trucks, stockpiles, and other equipment in an active harbor environment.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Sennebogen crane to unload materials from vessels and load or move materials as directed.

• Place materials in designated stockpiles, hoppers, trucks, or other areas.

• Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Coordinate movements with ground personnel and other equipment operators.

• Keep the crane cab and work area clean and orderly.

• Follow site procedures and communicate clearly by radio or other assigned method.

• Stop work and report unsafe conditions, equipment problems, or changing site conditions.

• Assist with other duties as assigned.

What Sets You Apart:

 

• Previous crane, material handler, or heavy equipment operating experience.

• Experience with Sennebogen equipment is a must.

• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with coworkers.

• Commitment to safe work practices and completing equipment inspections.

• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather and around moving equipment.

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work the schedule required for harbor operations.

• Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
