Senior Marketing Operations Specialist (SR WCIR)

We're looking for a motivated, collaborative, and forward-thinking Marketing Operations Specialist to join our team. Communication, Writing & Presentation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise, and engaging communications for a variety of audiences, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and values.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail, grammar, tone, and messaging.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, including the ability to develop clear, professional, and visually engaging presentations for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including the ability to organize complex information, develop effective presentation materials, and communicate information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Confidence presenting information, findings, and recommendations to colleagues, leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to tailor communications and presentations for different audiences.

Technical & Analytical

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, with the ability to learn and effectively use new technology and tools.
  • Experience working with CRM systems; Salesforce experience is desirable but not required.
  • Ability to use data, metrics, and research to support recommendations and business decisions.

Project, Event & Budget Management

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, projects, and deadlines.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and support marketing events, including managing logistics, timelines, vendors, materials, and other event-related needs.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure marketing events are well organized and successfully executed.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail while staying focused on overall project objectives and business needs.
  • Ability to coordinate, track, and analyze expenses and prepare accurate reports to support budget monitoring and planning.

Collaboration, Adaptability & Growth

  • Ability to build positive working relationships and partner effectively across teams and functional areas.
  • Curious and adaptable, with a willingness to explore new tools, technologies, and approaches.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Special Requirements

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee's monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract. The salary range(s) included on this job posting do not reflect the reduction in pay.
