The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, and commission water and wastewater treatment systems, including membrane bioreactor (MBR) technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design integrated water treatment systems, including biological treatment, membrane filtration, and pretreatment.
- Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, mass balances, and equipment specifications.
- Conduct pilot testing, system commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers on system development.
- Visit customer sites, assess treatment requirements, and support technical sales.
Requirements
- 3+ years of process engineering experience designing and building water or wastewater treatment systems.
- Hands-on experience with MBR, membrane filtration, fouling management, and cleaning strategies.
- Experience with process design, equipment selection, and integrated treatment systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, testing, and analytical skills.
- Startup or commissioning experience strongly preferred.
Preferred: Reverse osmosis (RO), industrial wastewater reuse, PLC controls, or modular system design experience.
