This position is responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing operational activities of warehousing and logistics for multiple warehouses within an assigned region. 

Essential Duties:

  • Develops and implements policies and procedures governing the receipt, storage, and distribution of warehouse items.
  • Supports the organization’s supply chain strategy through maintenance of appropriate inventory levels and timely distribution of goods.
  • Ensures warehouse operations comply with regulations governing materials handling, storage and distribution.
  • Works with Human Resources in handling all associate issues including but not limited to hiring, feedback, disciplinary actions and termination as measured through associate satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintains a safe environment for all department functions as measured by the safety record, accident-free days, lost time days, and total dollars spent.
  • Coordinates all activities related to warehousing and serves as a source of expertise as measured by expense to sales and total cost per case.
  • Prepares departmental budgets, which includes staffing, labor, and material handling equipment needs as measured by meeting budget requirements.
  • Supports and initiates continuous process improvement as measured by total projects completed, project participation, and total dollars saved.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor degree (B.A.) from a credited college preferred. 
  • 6+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Reporting methods, tools, Word, Excel, Email, Business Intelligence (BI)  
  • Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay for the role is weighted on several factors and base salary is expected to start around $115K with annual bonus potential.
