    Description

    Schedule:

    • Monday - Friday
    • 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Weekends Off)

    What You'll Do:

    • Perform shipping, receiving, packing, loading, unloading, and material handling activities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
    • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
    • Prepare, package, label, and stage shipments according to customer and company requirements.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse or inventory management systems.
    • Ensure compliance with DOT shipping regulations, hazardous material handling requirements, and company safety procedures.
    • Read and follow work instructions, shipping documentation, and standard operating procedures.
    • Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and material movement.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while meeting daily productivity goals.
    • Respond quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.

    Employment Note: This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse, shipping & receiving, logistics, or material handling experience.
    • Working knowledge of packing, loading, shipping, and receiving processes.
    • Basic computer proficiency and experience using warehouse or inventory management systems.
    • Basic math skills for inventory counting, measuring, and shipping documentation.
    • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, shipping documents, correspondence, and safety procedures.
    • Basic written communication and record-keeping skills.
    • Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

    Preferred:

    • International Air Transportation (IATA) certification and experience with hazardous air shipments.
    • DOT shipping knowledge and experience with road/trucking shipping regulations.
    • SAP experience is a plus but not required.

    • Navigate a busy warehouse with constant movement of personnel, equipment, and materials.
    • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, hazardous materials requirements, and company safety standards.
    • Respond quickly to operational demands while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety.

    Work Environment:

    • Warehouse-based position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Frequent lifting, moving, packing, loading, and handling of materials.
    • Continuous interaction with warehouse equipment, inventory, and personnel.
    • Warehouse noise and equipment traffic are part of the daily work environment.
    • Strict adherence to all company safety policies and procedures is required.
