    Description

    We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Tax Reporting and Compliance to join our Corporate Trust Structured Finance team. This role is located in Houston, Texas.

    In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

    • Perform calculations for the most specialized and/or complex internal and/or external clients and complete tax or other regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. 
    • Review tax and or other regulatory calculations and reporting prepared by more junior colleagues and work with clients to plan for the tax and/or regulatory cycle.
    • Validate data and documentation to complete filings and flag data inconsistencies for review.
    • Answer questions from investors and/or internal parties regarding tax and/or regulatory questions.
    • Provides oversight and sets priorities for a specialized team
    • Contribute to the achievement of team objectives. 
    • Support multiple, complex client accounts.
    • Assist director in staff development, scheduling, implementation of new processes, and problem resolution.

    To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

    • Bachelors degree in a business discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
    • Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent certification 
    • 7-10 years of total work experience. 
    • Experience with mortgage-backed securitizations and Real Estate Mortgage Investment Conduit (REMIC) reporting.
    • Experience in tax reporting and analysis preferred.
