Trillium Professional is now seeking a Senior Vascular Technologist (Lead) for a direct-hire, on site position in Boston, MA!

$112,000 - $135,000 base salary + $15,000 sign-on bonus.

A leading academic medical center is seeking a Senior VascularTechnologist (Lead Sonographer) to join its IAC-accredited Vascular Lab. This is a hands-on clinical leadership role responsible for performing advanced vascular ultrasound studies while providing technical oversight, mentoring sonography staff, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and assisting with lab accreditation.

The vascular team works closely with vascular surgeons, cardiologists, neurologists, fellows, residents, and an experienced team of vascular technologists in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform the full spectrum of non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations, including:
• • Carotid duplex studies
  • Arterial duplex studies
  • Venous duplex studies
  • AV fistula and graft surveillance
  • Stent surveillance
  • Transcranial Doppler studies
  • Renal artery studies
  • Arterial physiology testing
  • Vein mapping
• Serve as the technical leader within the vascular laboratory.
• Mentor and train sonographers, students, and physician residents.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of vascular imaging studies prior to physician interpretation.
• Support Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Improvement (QI), and IAC accreditation activities.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Vascular Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or an allied health/science field with an accredited vascular ultrasound certificate.
• ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required (or eligible to obtain within 24 months).
• 4-5+ years of experience in vascular ultrasound technology and non-invasive vascular examinations.
• Proficient operating all vascular laboratory equipment.
• Previous experience serving as a lead, mentor, or senior technologist is highly desirable.
