Unity has partnered with an established upstream oil and gas client on an exciting Senior Accountant opportunity supporting a highly operated, oil-weighted offshore portfolio. This is a great opportunity for an experienced upstream accountant who wants more than a traditional month-end role.

Unity has partnered with an establishedupstream oil and gas client on an exciting Senior Accountant opportunity supporting a highly operated, oil-weighted offshore portfolio. This is a great opportunity for an experienced upstream accountant who wants more than a traditional month-end role.

You’ll have hands-on ownership across:

• AFE accounting & property accounting
• Yard inventory & material transfers
• ARO, DD&A, allocations & reconciliations
• Capital projects and well equipment tracking
• Partnership with Operations, Procurement & Drilling
• ERP implementation & accounting process improvements

What they’re looking for:

• 5+ years of upstream oil & gas accounting 
•  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of property accounting and core accounting principles
• AFE / inventory / material tracking experience
• SAP, BOLO, Excalibur - similar ERP experience
