Location: Santa Ana, CA | Hybrid. Join our collaborative Southern California litigation team, with a hybrid work arrangement that supports both courtroom responsibilities and team collaboration.

Note: This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced California trial attorney with 13+ years of legal practice, at least five jury trials as first-chair counsel, and direct personal injury jury trial experience. Strong courtroom advocacy and the ability to independently lead significant cases are essential.

Job Description

• Lead complex personal injury and civil litigation cases through trial and verdict.
• Serve as first-chair trial counsel, directing courtroom strategy, witness examinations, and jury presentations.
• Develop effective litigation strategies for challenging, high-exposure matters.
• Manage depositions, discovery, motions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Advise clients on case strategy, litigation risks, and potential resolutions.
• Work closely with fellow attorneys to deliver exceptional legal representation.
• Share your courtroom knowledge and help strengthen our team's trial capabilities.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience practicing law in California.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• First-chair counsel experience in at least five jury trials.
• Direct experience trying personal injury cases before a jury.
• Strong trial advocacy, negotiation, case management, and litigation strategy skills.
• Ability to independently lead significant cases while working collaboratively with other attorneys.
• Experience with personal injury defense, insurance defense, or complex liability litigation is especially valuable.
