    Senior Treasury Analyst

    What are we looking for?

    We are looking for passionate, detail-oriented, and resourceful individuals who want to be part of our growing company and dynamic industry. The desired candidate is professional and self-motivated, with the discipline to manage high-volume payment operations accurately and the analytical skill to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively.

    What would you do?

    As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you will work closely with the Controller and Accounting team to own payment operations for the teams, leagues, and event company partners we work with — including settlements, reconciliations, cash management, and reporting that keep our ticket revenue business running smoothly.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Own AR/AP management, running all pay runs and holding weekly check-ins with business units to validate settlements
    • Manage deal reconciliation and monthly settlements across all leagues and partners, ensuring internal and external agreement on every payment event
    • Analyze partner and league contracts in real time and maintain accurate, current payment schedules; monitor the Balance Sheet and Vendor Balance Summary reports to confirm partners are adhering to schedule
    • Own cash reconciliation and reconcile remittance reports against sales data across all partners
    • Partner with Operations on a weekly basis to identify cancellations, clawbacks, and unpaid orders
    • Maintain AR remittance files for audit support and Ops requests, and own month-end AR entries
    • File monthly sales taxes, manage marketplace collection follow-up, and support the cash flow forecasting model
    • Validate outbound wire information as a defense against phishing and fraud attempts, and ensure vendor invoices are reviewed, saved, and tracked to support billing-trend analysis
    Requirements

    What is required to succeed?

    • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CTP a plus
    • 4-5 years of overall experience in accounting, accounts payable, or treasury operations, including 2-3 years in a senior associate-level role
    • Experience managing settlements and reconciliations against contracts with varying payment terms
    • Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to detail
    • Analytical aptitude and the ability to interpret and reconcile data from multiple sources
    • Ability to successfully prioritize deadlines across a high volume of partners and leagues, and adapt in a dynamic environment
    • Must be able to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency with MS Office, with strong skills in Excel required
    • Strong controls mindset, including experience with wire validation and fraud/phishing prevention
    • Working knowledge of sales tax compliance and filing
    • Openness to relocate to Houston, TX
