Senior Transportation Project Manager PE - Iowa DOT

Our client, a well-regarded multi-state transportation engineering consultancy, is growing its central Iowa office and needs a senior transportation leader who can win work, run projects, and build the local team.

Your impact:

- Grow the Iowa practice by strengthening relationships with Iowa DOT, cities, and counties

- Shape pursuit strategy, lead proposals and interviews, and turn opportunities into backlog

- Manage roadway, traffic, and planning projects from scope and budget through QA/QC and delivery

- Lead and mentor local engineers, and help hire the team as the office expands

- Partner with regional leadership on staffing and growth plans

You bring:

- BS in Civil Engineering

- Iowa PE, or able to get it within 6 months

- 10+ years in transportation engineering (roadway design, traffic, or both)

- 5+ years working directly with the Iowa DOT

- A track record of winning work and managing people

- MicroStation / OpenRoads and Iowa municipal experience a plus

- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
